Decision dashboards

A dashboard that tells you where to look.

“I have dashboards, but nobody changes a decision after seeing them.”

Every dashboard starts from your business questions. Metrics are defined once, drill down in one click and alert you when something goes off track, with the reason written out.

01 · Drill down

One click, from the chain to the hour.

The store that falls off track opens by hour, day or salesperson, one click away.

02 · What changed and why

The change, explained by what drove it.

If sales rose 6.4%, the dashboard shows how much each store, each day and the ticket contributed. What subtracted shows up too.

How to read it. It starts at last week and adds or subtracts each cause until it reaches this week.

03 · The question picks the chart

Every question, its chart.

The same data is shown differently depending on what you need to know: compare, see proportions or understand how much each part adds to the total.

04 · Alerts

The alert reaches you where you already are.

When something goes off track, the alert arrives by text, Slack or email with the reason. What was done about each alert is logged.

05 · Assistant with your data

You type the question. The chart builds itself.

It uses your business dictionary's definitions and shows where each number comes from.

02 · In plain words

What people usually ask.

A decision dashboard starts from your business questions. Every metric is defined once and always calculated the same way, drills down in one click and alerts you when something goes off track, with the reason written out. We build it as a custom web dashboard or in Power BI.

How is it different from a regular dashboard?

A regular dashboard shows what happened. A decision dashboard goes all the way to what to do: it explains the change, projects the close and proposes the action, with every number checked against the source.

Do you work with Power BI?

Yes, and if your company already uses it, we start there. For new projects we recommend custom web dashboards: they connect to your systems via API, update on their own, work well on mobile and don't require per-user licenses.

Can it alert me by text, Slack or email?

Yes. Alerts arrive by text, Slack, Teams or email when a metric leaves its range, with the detail of what moved it.

How much does it cost?

Every project is quoted. After the assessment we send you a written proposal with the scope, the stages and the price of each.
